Violets are making their appearance now it's wintertime.
These tiny beauties shyly poke their purple petals up through the heart shaped leaves and stand surprisingly strong on their delicate stems. Their are a delight to collect into a pretty posy.
Fiddly to pick, but their sweet fragrance is worth the labour of love.
